GTA 6: Extended Gameplay Premiere on Netflix — What We Know
Rockstar Games has partnered with Netflix to unveil an "Extended Look" at Grand Theft Auto VI — and it drops this Thursday.
When and Where
- Netflix Premiere: Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET
- Free on YouTube/Rockstar.com: 6 hours later at 9:00 PM ET
- Estimated Runtime: 20–30 minutes (unconfirmed by Rockstar)
What to Expect
This is expected to be the first real gameplay showcase — not just a cinematic trailer. Industry insiders anticipate footage covering:
- Dual-protagonist mechanics — switching between Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos
- Open world exploration of Vice City and the wider Leonida state
- Revamped police and wanted system
- Vehicle interactions and side activities
- Living world NPC behaviors and environmental detail
The showcase arrives amid several unauthorized leaks from older development builds circulating online. Rockstar has confirmed the August 27 premiere will proceed as scheduled despite these leaks.
Mark your calendars — this is the biggest GTA 6 reveal yet.
